If the dent or bend is small, there are techniques for straightening using a rubber mallet or a drill and screws. However, some dents can affect the pitch of your gutter and inhibit the flow of water to the downpipe. In many cases a new section of gutter might be the only option. Old aluminum gutters can be recycled at facilities that pay for metal.
